Accessibility

Built for everyone, audited continuously.

We hold our own site to the standard we hold client work to: WCAG 2.2 level AA, Section 508 alignment, and the ADA's expectation that people with disabilities can use what we ship. This page says exactly what we do and how to tell us when we miss.

Adjust this page right now

Text size and high contrast are available in the site header on every page. Your choice is remembered on this device. If your system already asks for more contrast, we honor that automatically.

What we do

  • WCAG 2.2 level AA as the target

Contrast, focus visibility, target size, keyboard operability, and text spacing are checked against the published success criteria, not eyeballed.

  • Automated audits on every page

An accessibility agent runs an axe-core audit across every public page at phone, tablet, and desktop widths. Violations are treated as build defects, not backlog wishes.

  • Reader-controlled text size

Three text sizes are built into the site header, and all layouts are built with relative units so browser zoom to 200% never clips or overlaps content.

  • High-contrast mode

A single control switches to solid surfaces, darker text, stronger borders, and underlined links for readers who need more separation than a brand palette gives.

  • Keyboard first

A skip link, visible focus rings, labelled controls, and no keyboard traps. Every interactive element is reachable and operable without a mouse.

  • Screen reader semantics

Real landmarks, one heading outline per page, labelled form fields with errors announced politely, and decorative images hidden from assistive technology.

  • Motion and comfort

Animation respects the operating system's reduced-motion setting, and nothing flashes, auto-scrolls, or moves in a way that can trigger discomfort.

  • Accessibility in what we build for you

The same checks ride along in client work. Accessible software is a legal expectation under the ADA and a straightforward quality standard, so it is part of delivery rather than an add-on.

Conformance and feedback

Develofi aims for WCAG 2.2 level AA conformance across this site. Accessibility is never finished: standards evolve, content changes, and automated tools cannot catch everything a real person will. If any part of this site is hard to use, tell us and we will fix it and confirm back with you.

Email hello@develofi.com with the page and what got in your way. We respond within one business day.
