How Greenlight works

1. 1. Start with proof. Ideas must have a working prototype and a passing grade before they can ask for backing.
2. 2. Backers fund the next build. Pledges count toward the target. When the target is met, the build starts with a Product Architect guiding it.
3. 3. Backers get early access and credit. Every dollar pledged becomes a dollar of credit to use in the app, at that app's going prices.
4. 4. The credit clock starts at real launch. Credit lasts 12 months from the actual launch date, not an estimate.
5. 5. Watch the Warren Beam signal. Every project carries a red light, yellow light, or Greenlight so owners, backers, and staff know where it is trending.

Crowd backing is an option, not a requirement. You can always fund the build yourself and keep your idea private until you are ready to go public. When you are ready, your prototype and grade are already waiting.

What counts as launch?

Pre-launch and early adoption mean invite-only periods, private tests, and payments that are still in test mode.

Launch is the first day the app accepts any uninvited user, or the first day it takes real payments out of test mode.

After launch, Develofi does not refund pledges. If there is a dispute, we can help mediate between the backer and the idea owner.
